C'est la seule image du calendrier qui fut executée par l'artiste Colombre, les trois frères Limbourg étant morts de la peste. Ils peignirent simplement les motifs zodiacaux, en ornementation supérieure du tableau. L'image représente les récoltes autonmnales de glands, tandis qu'un paysan est en train de secouer le chêne avec un baton pour faire tomber les glands, qui serviront de nourriture aux porcs.

This is the only calendar image executed by Colombe; the Limbourgs painted only the zodiacal tympanum above it. The picture shows the autumn acorn harvest, with a peasant knocking down throwing sticks to knock down the acorns on which his pigs are feeding.
